Mélanie’s interest in European and international law led her to obtain a Certificate in Transnational and Comparative Law from the University of Geneva, as well as an LL.M. in European Law from the University of Leiden. Through these studies, she has acquired multi-disciplinary and interdisciplinary expertise in various branches of law.
She has worked in several renowned law firms specialising in business law, where she gained in-depth understanding of the intricacies of the business world and developed a passion for commercial law.
Through these experiences, she has been able to observe at close quarters the complex mechanisms of commercial transactions, contract negotiations and business-related litigation.
Mélanie joined Avens Brussels in March 2021. She currently focuses on providing effective legal solutions in the areas of commercial litigation, company and associations law, and private law in its broadest sense.
Client-oriented, she believes that every situation is unique, and that every client deserves personalised attention. By listening attentively to the needs of her clients, she grasps the complexity of each case and devises tailor-made legal solutions.
